Les Ambassadeurs

2 Michelin stars Style: Traditional

Les Ambassadeurs offers top-flight dining on several fronts. Overlooking the place de la Concorde and the National Assembly, the restaurant has one of the best views in the city. Mirrored walls, chandeliers, crystal, silver, fresh roses, and a heavenly painted ceiling grant a luxury seldom seen but often remembered. The polished wait staff guarantees discreet service, and the wine list is extensive. Dishes include crispy potato pancakes topped with smoked salmon, whipped cream, and caviar or buttery scallops wrapped in bacon and tinged with tomato and basil.

Le Divellec

2 Michelin stars Style: Modern

This beautiful marine restaurant, Le Divellec, has all the elegance and attractiveness of a yacht and offers mouth-watering seafood dishes, fresh from the trawlers. The restaurant is situated in central Paris, nestled in a district filled with government offices and embassies, and it enjoys a majestic view along the Esplanade des Invalides.

Guy Savoy

3 Michelin stars Style: Modern

Dark African wood and rich leather compose the decoration of the Guy Savoy Restaurant in Paris. Guy Savoy Restaurant counts among the 10 best tables of Paris. A unique Chef for a unique Cuisine. The artichoke soup with black truffles, sea bass with spices, and veal kidneys in mustard-spiked ... and much more. The atmosphere of the restaurant is joyful as Savoy explains that "having fun is just as important as eating well". A unique experience.

Le Jules Vernes

1 Michelin star Style: Modern

If you're looking for a gastronomical experience with a difference, why not ask for a table with a view in the Jules Verne restaurant? Located on the second platform of the Eiffel Tower's south pillar, this is France at its very best: succulent food (the world-renowned chef Alain Ducasse took the helm on January 1, 2007), palate-tingling wine and superb views.

Le Pavillon Ledoyen

3 Michelin stars Style: Traditional

Ledoyen serves haute cuisine in grand style. Even without the cooking, the restaurant would be worth visiting for its flamboyant Napoleon III décor and its striking position, tucked behind the Petit Palais and overlooking the gardens that gave the Champs Elysées their name. The Breton chef, Christian Le Squer, fully deserved the award of his third Michelin star.

Taillevent

3 Michelin stars Style: Traditional

This is the Parisian ne plus ultra of gastronomy. Taillevent opened in 1946 and has climbed steadily in excellence; today it ranks as Paris's outstanding all-around restaurant. It's in a grand 19th-century town house off the Champs-Elysées, with paneled rooms and crystal chandeliers. The venue is small, which permits the owner to give personal attention to every facet of the operation and maintain a discreet atmosphere.

La Tour d'Argent

2 Michelin stars Style: Traditional

La Tour d'Argent is a national institution that serves up not only mouth watering dishes, but also wonderful views over the Seine and Notre-Dam. A restaurant has stood on this site since 1582 and dining here is still an unsurpassed event. A good selection of the menu is devoted to duck, and diners who order the house specialty - caneton (pressed duck) - are issued with a certificate.
