Ian van Staalduinen
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. van Staalduinen has over seventeen years of technical experience in the oil and gas industry. Most recently, Mr. van Staalduinen headed up his own engineering consulting firm focusing primarily on acquisitions. Prior thereto, he was Vice President of a engineering consulting group and Chief Operating Officer of a Canadian oil and gas service company. He previously spent 10 years with a senior Canadian producer in a variety of roles including reservoir engineering, economic evaluations, exploration engineering, as well as acquisitions and dispositions.
Mr. van Staalduinen holds a Bachelor Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Daniel P. Gatto
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Gatto joined Tristone in 2001. Prior to Tristone, Mr. Gatto was a senior geologist at a mid-sized Canadian producer in the Business Development group. Mr. Gatto was responsible for generating and evaluating corporate and asset acquisition opportunities as well as divestiture and rationalization programs. Mr. Gatto has 29 years of experience as a Petroleum Geologist both as an independent consultant and with several Canadian E&P companies. In addition to the diverse Western Canadian exploration and business development background, is project experience in South America, Southern Europe, North Africa, Canadian Beaufort Sea / Mackenzie Valley as well as Unconventional reservoirs.
Mr. Gatto holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Calgary.
Wendy Smith Low
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Ms. Smith Low joined Tristone in 2002, from a Canadian oil and gas service company where she served as a Vice President and an Officer. Prior thereto Ms. Smith Low spent 7 years with a senior Canadian E&P company in a number of exploration engineering and research capacities. Ms. Smith Low holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary.
Sean Sodero
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Sodero has recently joined Tristone Capital and brings 13 years of work experience. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Sodero was Manager of Reservoir Engineering at a mid-sized, gas-focused Canadian producer. He has also worked as a senior reservoir simulation engineer on international and western Canadian oil projects for a major independent producer. Mr. Sodero holds a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
Naomi Kerr
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Ms. Kerr joined Tristone in 2002. Prior to joining Tristone, Ms. Kerr was president of a successful consulting company for 12 years, providing support to the oil and gas industry. Prior thereto, she worked as a geologist for several majors. Ms. Kerr holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geography from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from University of Calgary.
Louie A. Marchesin
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Marchesin joined Tristone in July 2004. With over 25 years of upstream oil and gas experience in Western Canada, Mr. Marchesin has held technical, consulting and management positions with intermediate to major producers. His diverse engineering experience and knowledge covers the areas of production engineering, operations, completions, exploitation, development, evaluations, and acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Marchesin holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alberta, is a registered professional engineer, a member of the CIM and is involved with the Calgary-Chinook Scout Foundation.
Steve Woima
Principal, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Steve Woima joined Tristone in June 2006. Most recently Mr. Woima was VP Exploration of a private exploration company. Mr. Woima has over 14 years of oil and gas exploration experience with primarily junior to major independent exploration and production companies. Mr. Woima has been a successful prospect generator and evaluator with a strong track record of finding oil and gas in Western Canada. Mr. Woima holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Calgary.
Todd Keenan
Junior Engineer, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Keenan joined Tristone's acquisitions and divestitures department in 2007. Prior to joining Tristone, he worked as a simulation engineer for a reservoir engineering consulting company. Mr. Keenan graduated with distinction from Queen's University with a degree in Engineering Physics and is currently finishing his Masters of Engineering degree at the University of Calgary specializing in Multidisciplinary Reservoir Characterization.
Cliff A. Johnson
Associate, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Johnson joined Tristone in September 2003 as an analyst in Investment Banking. In June 2006 he transferred to Tristone's Acquisitions and Divestitures group. Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Calgary where he specialized in Finance.
Joyce L. Kennedy

Ms. Kennedy has 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including several senior Canadian and US exploration and production companies. Prior to joining Tristone in 2004, Ms. Kennedy was a Principal Consultant with Landmark Graphics Canada. Ms. Kennedy holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
Emma O'Marr

Emma O'Marr joined Tristone's Acquisitions and Divestitures group in October 2007 from a private exploration company. Ms. O'Marr has 18 years of exploration experience in the oil and gas industry working primarily as a Geological Technologist for small to intermediate Canadian companies. Ms. O'Marr holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Calgary.

Ms Ward joined Tristone in 2004 as an Associate, Acquisition and Divestitures. Ms Ward has 15 years experience as an Operations Technologist with Junior E & P companies and holds a Petroleum Technology Diploma from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Shelly Hopp
Associate, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Shelly Hopp joined Tristone in 2002. Prior to Tristone she spent eight years with a publicly traded oil and gas service company. Ms. Hopp has developed skills in data management and technical document development. Ms. Hopp is an active volunteer with The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Andrea Vogel

Ms. Vogel joined the Tristone A&D Group in March 2005. She gained experience in the oil and gas industry as an assistant in an oil and gas research firm and in corporate finance. Ms. Vogel has completed both the Geology and Engineering Technician programs at SAIT.
Kelly Wylie

Ms. Wylie joined Tristone's A&D team in 2004. Ms. Wylie brings with her over 13 years of executive assistant experience, 9 years at an advertising agency and has now worked in the oil and gas industry for over 4 years. Ms. Wylie is a Senior Associate on the International Agriculture Committee for the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. She has served over 8 years on the committee and continues to be actively involved with the Calgary Stampede.
Chase Edgelow
Associate, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Edgelow joined Tristone in September 2008. Prior thereto, Mr. Edgelow worked in the upstream segment of a major Canadian integrated oil and gas company. In his previous experience he worked in the areas of facilities project engineering and production engineering for a Canadian junior oil company with exploration operations in Russia.
Mr. Edgelow holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics with distinction from Queen's University.
Rob Bilger
Managing Director - Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Bilger began his oil and gas career with Marathon Oil after earning a BSBA degree from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Business. He was Executive Vice President, CFO and Director of Samson Investment Company from 1999-2001 and held the same title with Ashland Exploration from 1987-1998. Mr. Bilger was Director of Acquisitions for Apache Corporation from 1984-1987. He has directed the negotiations and closings of more than $12 billion of acquisitions and divestitures during his career.
Mr. Bilger is a member of IPAA and its Business Development and CFO Roundtables, as well as being a member of TIPRO, the Houston Producers' Forum, and on the Board of Directors of IPAMS.
Miles C. Redfield
Managing Director, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Redfield joined Tristone in May 2004, with over 14 years of petroleum engineering, finance and acquisition and divestiture experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Tristone, Mr. Redfield founded and co-managed Wells Fargo Energy Advisors having closed over $550 MM in transaction during his three year tenure. Mr. Redfield spent three years with GE Capital where he gained experience associated with oil and gas equity and debt financing. From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Redfield acted as a senior member of BP Amoco's Acquisition and Divestment Group closing over $1.1B in transactions. Prior to getting an MBA, Mr. Redfield worked for Chevron USA and Kaiser Francis Oil Company in various petroleum engineering roles.
Mr. Redfield holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa and a M.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas.
Christopher J. Simon
Managing Director, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Simon brings to Tristone 24 years of experience in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry. Over the last 16 years, he has specifically focused on the acquisition, development and divestiture of oil and gas properties. Mr. Simon has since managed more than $1.8 billion in transactions. Prior to joining Tristone, he was a principal with Grey Horse Energy Partners, LLC. He has also served as Chief Investment Officer of JMI Energy Associates I, LLC, where he coordinated the company's acquisitions. Prior to JMI, he was Executive Vice President of Fleet Energy, LLC, which was formed as a management buyout of Destec Energy, Inc.'s natural resource assets. Mr. Simon managed the acquisition and divestiture of natural gas reserves at Destec Energy, Inc. where he became Vice President of its oil and gas subsidiary. He began his career as a Petroleum Engineer with ARCO Oil and Gas Company, Inc.
Mr. Simon received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1983 and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Houston Producers' Forum. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and is an ex-President of The Periwinkle Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides camping and recreational programs to children that are patients at Texas Children's Cancer Center.
D. Bruce Cox
Vice President & Director, A&D
Mr. Cox has more than 25 years of oil and gas technical experience, focused on reservoir engineering studies in the U.S. and internationally. He began his career with Exxon in 1981 upon graduation from Louisiana State University. During his nine years with Exxon, he was a Reservoir Engineer, a Drilling Engineer, and finally a Senior Staff Engineer for the Reservoir Technology New Ventures Group. Mr. Cox joined Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. in 1990, holding the position of Senior Vice President where he successfully managed and oversaw integrated reserve and resource studies, including oil and gas property appraisal, reserve certifications and resource assessments. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas.
Jerry Gips
Vice President, Geology
Jerry Gips has over 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including employment at Texaco and Bartling Oil Company. In 2000 he joined Tristone Capital after working 18 years as a consulting geologist. Since 1997 he has worked on A&D projects with experience in most major producing basins including the Rocky Mountain, Permian and Panhandle, as well as in the Gulf Coast, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and offshore Gulf of Mexico.
Mr. Gips was awarded a patent for the use of CO2 to recover hydrocarbons from groundwater. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Texas, is a licensed geologist in the State of Texas and is an active member of AAPG, HGS, the Houston Producer’s Forum and West University Rotary Club.
David Hopkins
Vice President, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. Hopkins brings over 25 years of diversified experience in all phases of the E&P business. He began his career as a petroleum engineer with Houston Oil and Minerals Corporation in 1976, and later held various technical and management positions with Tenneco Oil and Apache Corporation. In 1996 he joined Enervest Management Co. where he was Division Manager and later Sr. VP of Operations, leading the successful assimilation of over $125 million in acquisitions. Most recently, Mr. Hopkins served as Vice President - Acquisition Evaluations with Xpronet Resources, where he led the acquisition evaluation efforts for that company from 2001-2002. Mr. Hopkins also worked as an independent petroleum consultant for various E&P clients.
Mr. Hopkins earned a B. S. in Petroleum Engineering with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975, and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Houston Producers' Forum, and Houston Chapter of API.
Kevin McNichol
Vice President, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr. McNichol joined Tristone Capital in 2006. Mr. McNichol has 25 years of varied experience in the E&P industry. Prior to joining Tristone, Mr. McNichol was a partner in Hite, McNichol & Associates, Inc., an established engineering consulting firm in Houston. As a consultant Mr. McNichol's clients included major E&P companies, independents, financial institutions, law firms and large landowners. He has over 15 years experience in acquisitions and divestitures including marketing assets for clients, advising buyers, evaluating exploration ventures and issuing fair market value opinions. Mr. McNichol began his career with Amoco Production Company as a production and reservoir engineer with an emphasis on tight gas sands and secondary recovery. In 1989, Mr. McNichol joined Cox & Perkins Exploration as lead reservoir engineer with a focus on Gulf Coast and Austin Chalk exploration. Mr. McNichol later joined the consulting firm that was predecessor to Hite, McNichol & Associates, Inc. and was named partner in 1999.
Mr. McNichol earned a B. S. in Geological Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1981. He continued his education with Amoco in-house training and business studies at University of Houston. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Houston Producers Forum and is a past officer of the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers. Mr. McNichol is Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
Douglas D. Perley

Mr. Perley joined Tristone in May 2004. Mr. Perley has over 20 years of economics and acquisition and divestiture experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Tristone, Mr. Perley founded and co-managed Wells Fargo Energy Advisors having closed over $550 MM in transaction during his three year tenure. From 1990 to 2000, Mr. Perley acted as a senior member of BP Amoco's Acquisition and Divestment Group closing over $1.8 B in deals. Earlier in his career at Amoco, Mr. Perley held various financial analyst positions including treasury and economic evaluation of international projects since 1982.
Mr. Perley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and a MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
Tom Andreen
Senior Engineer Advisor, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Tom Andreen joined Tristone Capital in February 2003, and has more than 30 years of experience in petroleum engineering activities. Prior to joining Tristone Capital, Mr. Andreen worked in various aspects of drilling, production and reservoir engineering. His experience includes analysis of conventional oil and gas properties, as well as expertise in non-conventional assets including coal bed methane, shale gas, tight gas, waterfloods, and CO2 floods. While at Tristone Capital, Mr. Andreen has worked numerous areas and has expertise in the Mid-Continent, Permian, Gulf Coast, South Texas, East Texas, North Louisiana and Rocky Mountains.
Mr. Andreen is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Jim Coe
Senior Engineer, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Jim Coe started his career in the petroleum industry in 1970 as a reservoir engineer. Mr. Coe has analyzed natural drive reservoirs, waterfloods, miscible floods and is experienced with field development in both conventional and low permeability reservoirs. His experience includes most geologic environments, including deltaic, shoreline, continental, shallow water, deep water, and thrust belts as well as a variety of geographic locations including the Gulf of Mexico, Rocky Mountains, Southeast U.S., West Texas, Canada, North Sea, South Africa and Venezuela.
Mr. Coe joined Tristone Capital in 2006. He has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Doug Cowan
Senior Geologist, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Doug Cowan joined Tristone Capital in 2005. He has over 35 years of domestic oil and gas experience which includes 20 years with Pennzoil and Total. He later worked as an independent consultant and served as Regional Exploration Manager (Enstar) and has participated in drilling over 1,000 wells in his career.
Mr. Cowan has worked East Texas, North Louisiana and the Gulf Coast producing trends as a geologist and geophysicist in exploration, lease sales, prospect generation, development drilling, unconventional reserves analysis and A&D. He also has exposure to the Ft. Worth, Anadarko, Arkoma and Williston basins. Mr. Cowan is fluent in Geographix, Kingdom and Petra.
Mr. Cowan has a BA in Geology from Trinity University, 2 years of graduate school at New Mexico Tech and is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, International Association of Mathematical Geologists, Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analysts, Canadian Well Logging Society and the Houston Geological Society.
Terry Davidson
Senior Geologist, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Terry Davidson has 35 years of diversified experience in all phases of petroleum geology. Prior to joining Tristone Capital in 2006, he worked for El Paso/Coastal Corporation, Western Geophysical, American Trading and Production, Comexco and C&K Petroleum. His experience includes exploration plays, field development and property A&D, detailed structural and sand trend mapping, and production type maps utilizing subsurface and geophysical methods.
Mr. Davidson is a registered Professional Geologist with the State of Texas. He has a BS in Geology from the University of Houston and a MAG in Resource and Environmental Management from Southwest Texas State University. He is a Certified Petroleum Geologist through the American Association of Petroleum Geologist and the American Institute of Professional Geologist and an active member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicist and the Houston Geological Society.
Robin Gaines

Robin Gaines joined Tristone Capital in March 2007 and has 14 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Tristone Capital, Ms. Gaines spent 11 years at Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. as a Petroleum Analyst Coordinator where she specialized in the management and development of economic models for US and international oil and gas properties, database manipulation and technical document generation, editing and standardization.
Ms. Gaines graduated with honors from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
Philip Pavlich
Senior Engineer, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Philip Pavlich joined Tristone Capital in August 2005 and has 29 years experience in petroleum engineering. Prior joining Tristone Capital, Philip worked at Tri-Union Development and Atasca Resources as a reservoir and operations engineer. His assignments included projects with secondary recovery operations, identifying A&D related upside opportunities, and implementing drilling and workover projects. While at Tristone Capital he has been the lead engineer on assignments in the Rockies, Oklahoma, Permian Basin, Panhandle, Gulf Coast, and offshore Gulf of Mexico.
Mr. Pavlich is a registered professional engineer in Texas and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He has a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Houston.
Jane Reiss
Senior Geologist, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Jane Reiss has 37 years experience as a Petroleum Geologist in exploration and development geology and geophysics. She has worked as a senior geologist for Tristone Capital since June of 2003. Ms. Reiss has worked in both technical and management positions with major and independent oil and gas companies. Her responsibilities have included prospect generation, field development, reserve calculations, wellsite evaluation, seismic acquisition and interpretation, oil and gas expert witness testimony, and A&D. Ms. Reiss has worked A&D in the onshore and offshore Gulf Coast, East Texas, South Texas, Anadarko Basin, Texas Panhandle and Permian Basin.
Ms. Reiss is a certified professional geologist in the State of Texas and a member of numerous professional societies. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Indiana University.
Natalie Synnott
Associate, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mrs. Synnott joined Tristone in June 2007. Mrs. Synnott has over seven years of experience in acquisition and divestiture transaction execution. Prior to re-joining Tristone, Mrs. Synnott was an Associate at LaSalle Corporate Finance, where she focused on sell-side transaction advisory across multiple industries, and, prior to that, she was an Associate with Wells Fargo Energy Advisors, where she focused on oil and gas property divestitures. Mrs. Synnott began her career as a Financial Analyst at Enron Corp. Mrs. Synnott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the Junior League of Houston and is a DePelchin Children's Center Volunteer.
Jim Zavitsky
Senior Engineering Advisor, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Jim Zavitsky has 21 years oil and gas experience. He has been with Tristone Capital since March of 2000. Mr. Zavitsky has previously worked for Amoco Production Company in a variety of assignments including both conventional (primary and secondary) and enhanced recovery projects (CO2 Flooding). Mr. Zavitsky has worked A&D in most major basins including the Rocky Mountain, Mid-Continent, Permian, Panhandle, and Gulf Coast as well as a number of coalbed methane packages in the Powder River and Cherokee Basins.
Mr. Zavitsky is a registered professional engineer and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He has a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.
Doug Rogers
Engineer, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Doug Rogers joined Tristone Capital in 2008 after working five years for ExxonMobil as a reservoir engineer. He worked a variety of assignments and gained experience including reserves analysis, field development and economics, lease negotiation, and scoping-level simulation. Assignments were in south Texas, California, and various locations onshore and offshore in the Middle East and Eurasia.
Doug earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University in 2003. In 2008 he graduated from the University of Texas with a Masters degree in Business Administration.

Robert Mendiola joined Tristone Capital in August 2005. He has 13 years experience in domestic and international geological mapping. Mark W. Llamas

Mr. Llamas joined Tristone Capital in September 2005 as Managing Director, Acquisitions and Divestitures, with responsibility for international A&D transactions. Mr. Llamas joined Tristone after five and a half years with Waterous & Co, where he was a Managing Director of the London operation. Mr. Llamas has led acquisition and divestment projects located in the North Sea, the Middle East, North Africa, West Africa, Onshore Europe,Latin America and South East Asia. Prior to working in the A&D advisory sector, Mr. Llamas gained 14 years of technical experience with Shell, where he held a variety of geological and geophysical roles in both exploration and development teams and as the Lead Geoscientist at a 3D visualization centre located within Imperial College, London University serving both academia and the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Llamas holds an honours degree in Geology and Biology and a Master of Science degree in Sedimentology, both from the University of London.He is a member of the PESGB (Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain) and the EPNG (European Petroleum Negotiators Group).
Rolf Bakker
Director, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Mr Bakker joined Tristone Capital in October 2006 as a Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures. Mr Bakker has gained over 20 years of international technical and commercial experience. He worked for Shell in Turkey, The Netherlands, Oman and the United Kingdom in a variety of functions in geology, geophysics and acquisitions & divestitures.
Mr Bakker holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE - London Section) and of the European Petroleum Negotiators Group (EPNG). Until end 2007 Mr Bakker was a non-executive Director and board member of the Richmond Fellowship Employment and Training (RFET), part of the Richmond Fellowship Group, one of the biggest providers of mental health care in the United Kingdom.
Anna McAleer
Data-Room Manager, Acquisitions and Divestitures
Ms McAleer joined Tristone in October 2007 as Data Room Administrator for Acquisition and Divestitures. Ms McAleer has 13 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with Shell, based in Aberdeen, delivering multiple data rooms for the A&D team. Ms McAleer has an extensive industry track record delivering data rooms for mature assets as well as exploration opportunities. Assets divested include Kittiwake, Auk, Fulmar, Tern, Eider, Cormorant, Montrose, Arbroath and Curlew in the North Sea. Ms McAleer also has led data rooms internationally for opportunities in Norway and the Netherlands, and has transaction process experience in Egypt, Hong Kong and the Gulf of Mexico.
Ms McAleer holds a Diploma in Business Administration.
Mohammed Chunara
Associate, Acquisitions and Divestitures
Mr. Chunara joined Tristone Capital in April 2007 as Associate, Acquisitions and Divestitures. Mr. Chunara joined with over 6 years of experience in both the upstream and downstream segments of the Oil & Gas industry. Prior to starting at Tristone, Mr. Chunara was employed as a Reservoir Engineer working on a number of North Sea assets for Total in Aberdeen. He also has experience in Reservoir Engineering with ConocoPhillips and worked for a year as a Process Engineer for Foster Wheeler Energy, working on the design of a downstream facility in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Chunara holds a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from University College, London. He is also a member of the London section of the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers).
Scott Urquhart
Associate, Acquisitions and Divestitures
Mr. Urquhart joined Tristone Capital in June 2007 as Associate, Acquisitions and Divestitures. Mr. Urquhart joined Tristone after three years with Pengrowth Corporation where he was a Reservoir Engineer responsible for evaluation and execution of development opportunities in their western Canadian assets. Mr. Urquhart started his career with Schlumberger Canada where he was a Field Engineer in their Well Services division. Mr. Urquhart holds a Diploma in Engineering from St. Francis Xavier University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Dalhousie University, and is a MBA candidate at the University of Calgary. He is also a member of the Canadian section of the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers).
Barbara Murray
Associate, Acquisitions & Divestitures
Ms. Murray joined Tristone Capital in September 2008 as Associate, Acquisitions and Divestitures. Ms. Murray joined Tristone from Challenge Energy Ltd. where she was a Geoscientist assisting clients with commercial and technical solutions in both the upstream and downstream segments of the Oil & Gas industry. Ms. Murray started her career with the Petroleum Affairs Division of the Irish government where she was a Geologist in their technical department. Ms. Murray holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is also a member of the London section of the SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineers) and the PESGB (Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain).
